Caroline and I developed into fast friends after meeting in an online FB group for creatives. Although a FL resident, she was looking for a photographer local to NC who could take herself and her fiance (Mike – love that man btw) on a mountain-filled adventure for their engagement photos. I bravely messaged her with a few examples of my work, never thinking she’d give me a second glance among the hundreds of replies on her thread. After all, she was a fellow wedding photographer, and booking clients who know all the ins-and-outs of your field is freakin’ SCARY AF. Let just say, it’s a pretty damn coveted position.
LOW AND BEHOLD, HOT MAMA CHOSE ME.
3 months later we hiked, got lost, hiked some more, endured wind and rain all for those glorious Blue Ridge views. And even after learning how truly weird I was, Caroline and I (and sweet, sweet Mikey) fell into a forever kind of friendship that led me into the great journey of being their Wedding Photographer.
After months of planning and dreaming of the big day, I flew into Florida with anticipation that was busting at the britches. What came from all of Caroline & Mike’s hard work was truly unlike any wedding I’ve had (mostly because it was 70 degrees and sunny in the dead of winter 😆)..
Their team of venders put on one hell of a show, and I am SO honored to be the one who captured it all for C & M to remember (because Wedding Amnesia is REAL, folks).
